About My Workshops: Cook, Learn, and Connect
You won't find calorie counting sheets here. Whether it is my 'Salad 101' session at a cafe like The Caffeine Baar or a deeper dive into hormone health, we focus on what works in your actual life. You get to sample 3-4 full-sized dishes, take home printed recipes, and ask the questions about bloating or PCOS you have been too shy to bring up elsewhere.
Why I ditch the lecture format
Nutrition is often made to sound like a medical textbook, but it should be about your dinner plate. I started these workshops because I wanted to bridge the gap between clinical advice and the reality of an Indian kitchen. We don't just talk about macronutrients and 'good' or 'bad' foods. We get into the science of things—like resistant starches in tubers or prebiotic effects—while actually cooking and tasting the food.
What we cover
- Practical Cooking: From Salad 101 to mastering local tubers, we learn how to make healthy food that feels like a full oota (meal).
- Myth Busting: We cut through the noise. No detox teas or 'evil' carbs. Just straightforward talk about managing conditions like PCOS or period bloating through what you eat.
- Kids Nutrition: These sessions are designed to move the language of food away from 'good vs bad' to 'everyday vs sometimes', keeping things colourful, fun, and pressure-free for children.
My approach
I believe in sustainability. If a diet requires you to stop eating your family's home-style pappu or biryani, it isn't a long-term solution. My workshops are a safe space to ask the awkward questions—about digestion, energy levels, or why you feel bloated—without judgment. We keep it interactive, social, and genuinely helpful. Whether you are in JP Nagar or joining from elsewhere, you will walk away with a better understanding of how your body reacts to ingredients, not just a generic meal plan that sits in your inbox.
