Teaching young people the power of food is one of the best gifts we can give them. Here I am, guiding two enthusiastic learners through the steps of preparing a fresh, vibrant salad.

The joy of cooking is in the process. I guide my students through each step, explaining the 'why' behind every ingredient and technique to build their confidence in the kitchen.

Self-care is a priority, not a luxury, especially for women who nurture everyone around them. I was honored to connect with these wonderful women during a hands-on cooking session.

About this collection

If you join a hands-on session, expect more than just watching. We actually cook. My 3-hour workshops at my home studio are limited to 4-6 people, so you get individual attention while mastering specific techniques like fermentation or spice tempering. You will leave with a recipe booklet and, more importantly, the confidence to cook these meals at home.

Food is medicine, not just calories. In my workshops, we strip away the fads and focus on what actually works for your body. My goal is to make healthy cooking feel effortless, not like a chore involving expensive, hard-to-find ingredients. Whether we are making a protein-rich summer salad or simple millet-based dishes, every recipe is designed to support gut health and energy levels.

Why My Workshops are Different

I don’t believe in boring, restrictive diets. My sessions are centered around three main pillars:

  • Myth Busting: We talk about fats, carbs, and why ghee and nuts are actually your friends.
  • Seasonal Eating: We use what is available locally—like haldi in winter or fermented kanjee in summer—to keep your body aligned with the weather.
  • Practical Skills: You will learn fermentation basics, how to balance a plate, and how to make snacks that kids actually want to eat.

Choose Your Learning Style

  • Group Demonstrations (90–120 mins): Perfect if you want to watch, learn, and taste. We cover 3-4 recipes, and it’s a great way to ask questions and understand the science of nutrition.
  • Hands-On Workshops (3 hours): For those who want to get their hands dirty. We prepare a complete 4-5 dish meal from scratch using premium ingredients, and we end with a sit-down meal. These are intimate batches (4-6 people) at my studio in Adarsh Palm Retreat, Bellandur, ensuring you get enough help to master techniques like tempering and plating.
