A masterclass in mixing textures, Project ASA blends warm rust hues with lime-washed finishes to create a home that feels both grounded and deeply personal.

The living room in Project ASA is defined by its textural lime-washed walls and a show-stopping rust-orange curved sofa. This space is all about creating a warm, inviting atmosphere with bold color and organic forms.

A closer view of the rust-orange sofa, showing how it anchors the living space. The neutral, textured wall provides the perfect canvas, allowing the sofa's color and shape to take center stage.

This feature wall in the living room includes custom arched niches for displaying decor. The entire unit is finished in the same lime wash as the walls, creating a seamless, sculptural look that is both beautiful and functional.

This shot captures the eclectic mix of furniture and decor in the living room. The patterned armchair, tribal-inspired sculptures, and mix of coffee table shapes come together to create a curated, textural experience.

About Project ASA: A Study in Texture

The secret to this project’s warm, inviting atmosphere isn't just the color palette; it’s the layering of finishes like lime-washed walls, reeded glass, and inlay stone. We built these layers to add depth without cluttering the space, ensuring that even with bold statement pieces like the rust-orange sofa, the home retains a sense of calm and understated luxury.

At Furbishy, we don't believe in showroom homes. Project ASA was about understanding the occupants and giving them a space that holds its own character. We started with a clean, neutral canvas—the lime-washed walls—which allowed us to introduce architectural details like arched niches and fluted glass partitions. These weren't just decorative; they provided a sculptural quality that divides the living and dining areas while maintaining an open, fluid connection.

Every piece of furniture here was born in our workshop. From the inlay stone top dining table to the custom cabinetry, we prioritized tactile quality. The rust-orange sofa acts as the anchor, but it’s the interplay of light on the textured walls and the custom ceiling fixtures that truly define the mood.

You might wonder if such design-heavy interiors are practical. The answer lies in our material choices. We select finishes that age gracefully—stone, solid wood, and high-quality paint—so that the home remains as vibrant years later as it is on the first day. Whether you are looking for a complete home renovation in Bangalore or specific room styling, our process ensures the final result matches the 3D vision we present during the initial consultation.
