About Meet Your Instructor, Rahul
During our 1-on-1 sessions, I don't just watch from the sidelines. I use tactile cueing to physically adjust your alignment on the Merrithew Reformer, ensuring your spine is neutral and your deep core is doing the actual work, not your neck or shoulders. This isn't about counting reps; it's about making sure every movement is safe, purposeful, and helping you recover from that nagging back pain or injury.
If you are looking for a gym where you can zone out on a treadmill, Flow House isn't for you. I built this space because I believe movement is a privilege, not a punishment. When you train with me, expect me to be tough on your form and patient with your process.
My approach to Pilates is rooted in rehabilitation. I focus on using the original method to fix what is broken, whether that is chronic back pain, a post-injury weakness, or posture issues from sitting at a desk all day. We use Canadian-imported Merrithew Reformers to provide resistance that supports your joints while forcing your stabilizing muscles to fire.
Here is how we work:
- Tactile Adjustments: I am hands-on. I will correct your posture and alignment to prevent regression and ensure you are getting the most out of every spring setting.
- Injury Focus: I design protocols specifically for ligament tears, slip discs, and chronic stiffness. We move slowly, with control, to build resilience.
- The 'Pilates Hangover': You will wobble, you will feel the burn, and you will likely be sore. That is how I know we are making progress.
Whether you are a beginner or someone looking to build serious strength, my goal is to get you standing taller and moving with freedom. This is your hour to leave the excel sheets and stress at the door. Let’s get to work.
Flow House
I'm Rahul. My studio isn't for people who want to stand around in expensive gear—it’s for those who want to feel their muscles shake and walk out stronger. I’ll be right there beside you on the Reformer, making sure your form is perfect and your recovery is on track.
