Detox and Yoga Recovery Sessions
A true warrior knows when to push and when to rest. My Sunday detox sessions are designed to flush out stress, reset your muscles, and get you ready for the next fight.
After an intense week of training, it's important to focus on recovery. I guide my members through cool-down sessions with yoga and breathing exercises to help the body and mind relax.

About Balance & Recovery: Detox and Yoga
These aren't standard yoga classes. I run 3-hour Sunday Detox Retreats that mix games, active stretching, and breathwork to help your body recover from a heavy week of training. We focus on active recovery—releasing tight muscles and calming the mind—so you don't burn out. It's about staying loose and injury-free, not just sitting still.
Why Combat Recovery Matters
If you're training MMA, Boxing, or BJJ, you're putting your body through hell. Most people skip recovery until they get injured, but at Fighting Choice, we don't do that. Our Sunday sessions are built for longevity. We use a combination of yoga, mobility drills, and breathing techniques to flush out the stiffness that builds up after a week of sparring and heavy lifting.
What to Expect at Our Detox Retreat
We don't just stretch; we reset. Here is what we cover:
- Mobility Work: We target the common tight spots for fighters, specifically hips, shoulders, and the lower back.
- Active Breathing: Techniques to regulate your nervous system, essential for staying calm during a fight or a high-stress day at work.
- Detox Games: We keep it engaging with partner drills to ensure your mind stays active even while your body recovers.
This isn't about 'feeling zen.' It's about maintaining your range of motion so you can throw better kicks and punches next week. Whether you're a pro competitor or a regular at our MMA fitness classes, these sessions are the secret to sustaining your intensity. If you are feeling tired from the daily grind, this is how you reset.
Fighting Choice
I’m here to make sure you don't just grind, but actually grow. I’ve seen too many people quit because they get injured or burnt out, so I created these recovery sessions to keep you in the game longer.
