Multi-Sport Skill Development for Ages 6-9
Between 6 and 9, children begin to understand the mechanics of sport. We bridge the gap between playing for fun and playing to learn, focusing on coordination, agility, and teamwork through our 10-sport curriculum.
My senior kindergarten kids are mastering foundational ball skills and getting ready to learn different sports. Here, you can see them practicing everything from dribbling to kicking with focus. Building these skills first creates a strong base for future athletic success.
It's time to run, jump, and kick-start the journey into ball sports. This video shows our junior kindergarten batch learning the basics of tennis, practicing throwing and catching, and getting stronger with fun exercises.
This young athlete is mastering the game one swing at a time. I believe every child has the potential for greatness, and my classes are designed to help them discover and develop their unique talents in a supportive setting.
Balance is fundamental to all sports. Here, our students are working on their stability and coordination using balance beams. These activities are designed to be challenging yet fun, helping kids build physical confidence.
Working with different types of balls helps develop strength and coordination. In this outdoor session, the kids are practicing throwing and catching exercises that build their upper body strength and improve their spatial awareness.
A simple moment of control and focus. This young player is practicing her footwork with a soccer ball, a key skill for building confidence in the game. Every small step of progress is a huge victory.
Reaching for new heights. This action shot captures the athleticism and determination I aim to foster in every child. We focus on building not just athletic ability, but also the confidence to try hard and aim high.
About Developing Skills (Ages 6-9)
We cap our classes at 12 students to ensure every child gets the individual attention they need to master their technique. Whether it is refining a cricket swing, working on basketball dribbling, or learning the footwork for football, our 60-minute sessions are designed to build physical confidence in every movement.
At this age, the goal shifts from simple movement to refining how a child interacts with different types of equipment. Our 60-minute classes are held in climate-controlled, indoor studios at FitBee and Rasika Ranjani Sabha, providing a safe, non-slip environment where kids can focus on the drills without distraction.
Why Our 10-Sport Approach Works
By rotating through 10 different sports—including football, cricket, basketball, tennis, and rugby—we keep children engaged while developing diverse motor skills. A child who struggles with catching a cricket ball might find natural rhythm with a basketball. This exposure prevents burnout and allows them to discover the sports they genuinely enjoy.
Focus Areas for 6-9 Year Olds
- Technical Mechanics: We break down movements into manageable parts, like how to hold a bat or the correct stance for a free throw.
- Agility & Coordination: Our drills improve balance, reaction time, and hand-eye coordination.
- Team Dynamics: Since these classes include group play, kids learn to take turns, follow instructions, and support teammates.
We provide all the necessary junior-grade safety gear, including foam balls and lightweight hoops, so children can push their limits without the fear of injury. The program is flexible with both Quarterly Standard (24 sessions) and Quarterly Lite (12 sessions) options, allowing you to choose a pace that fits your schedule.
