At Enjoy-a-Ball, we believe sport is the ultimate classroom. We use 10 different ball sports to teach your child resilience, leadership, and the courage to try new things.

Did you know that to be active, healthy, and confident, kids need physical literacy? This is the combination of skills, confidence, and motivation to move. My classes are designed to build this foundation for a lifetime of activity.

Sportsmanship is a core value in my classes. I guide children to develop essential teamwork skills, celebrate the achievements of others, and show respect for everyone on and off the field.

A simple handshake teaches volumes about respect and fair play. These moments of good sportsmanship are encouraged and celebrated in every class, helping to build character alongside athletic skill.

I foster a sense of assurance in kids, empowering them to believe in themselves. As their confidence grows, they become more willing to try new things and delve deeper into the intricacies of each game.

We help our children have positive interactions with others and make new friends. Building healthy, positive relationships is one of the most important life skills learned through team sports.

Every child gets an opportunity to be a leader by demonstrating a game or an exercise to the class. This helps build public speaking skills and the confidence to guide their peers.

Practice teaches children persistence and not to give up. We encourage them to keep trying and continue practicing to get better, building resilience that will serve them well beyond the sports field.

Courage is about being willing to get involved in something new and unfamiliar. I encourage every child to experiment and experience all the different sports we offer, celebrating their bravery with every attempt.

We foster a sense of responsibility by encouraging children to attend classes regularly and try their best. This teaches them commitment and the importance of being accountable for their own progress.

Teamwork makes the dream work. Activities like playing with a parachute require everyone to cooperate and communicate to achieve a common goal, making it a fun and effective way to learn about collaboration.

About More Than Sports: Building Life Skills

While we introduce 10 different ball sports, the real magic happens in our small groups of 12. Whether it is taking turns with the parachute or demonstrating a new drill to the class, your child is not just playing; they are actively building the confidence to lead and the patience to cooperate.
