Yoga for All Ages: Balancing Mind, Body, and Breath
Yoga is more than fitness; it is a way to steady the mind. Whether you are seeking relief from pain or a peaceful start to your morning, join me in exploring Hatha Yoga, Acupressure, and natural living.
I truly believe that age is just a number, and my father proves it every day. Here he is at 69, demonstrating incredible strength and balance. This is a reminder that your journey with yoga can start at any time and lead to amazing vitality.
Personalized guidance is at the core of my teaching. In this video, I am assisting a student to safely deepen her pose, ensuring correct alignment to prevent injury and maximize benefits. This hands-on approach helps you progress with confidence.
There is a special kind of peace that comes from practicing yoga in nature. Here, my students connect with the elements, finding balance and serenity by a flowing river. This is what I mean by finding your 'sukoon' or inner calm.
The journey of yoga can begin at a very young age. This is our little yogini practicing Agnisaar Kriya, a powerful breathing exercise for digestive health. I create a fun and safe environment for children to explore the benefits of yoga.
It was an honor to lead a large session for the 10th International Yoga Day at Yol Cantt, Dharamshala. Moments like these, sharing the practice with the community, are what make this journey so rewarding. Here we are all practicing Anulom Vilom pranayama together.
Yoga can also be about connection and trust. This video shows two of my students performing a beautiful and challenging partner yoga sequence. Working together builds strength, flexibility, and a wonderful sense of shared accomplishment.
About Featured
In this collection, you will see exactly how I approach the practice—not through rigid, impossible poses, but through steady, accessible movements designed for real people. Whether it is partner-based stretching to build trust and flexibility, or gentle breathwork with my young students, the focus is always on your long-term health rather than quick, short-lived results. Hamesha muskurate rahe.
My Approach to Your Wellness
I view yoga as a path to peace, or 'sukoon', rather than a competitive sport. At 69, I still practice daily, and I teach from the belief that if I can do it, you can too. My sessions at my Noida studio and occasionally in the mountains of Dharamshala are built on the principles of Hatha Yoga, integrated with Naturopathy and Acupressure.
Why Combine Yoga and Naturopathy?
True well-being is not just about physical postures. By combining yoga with acupressure, we address pain and energy blockages directly. During our sessions, we might use manual therapy for joint pain, or create a 'Sattvic' diet plan that uses simple ingredients from your own kitchen. It is about sustainable changes you can actually maintain.
What to Expect
- Inclusivity: My classes are open to everyone. I teach children, adults, and seniors, adjusting the intensity based on your personal mobility and health goals.
- Consistency: I do not promise overnight magic. Real change requires regular effort. You might feel stuck some days, and that is okay. I will be there to guide you through the plateaus.
- Community: Whether you are in a small group of 8-12 students at the Noida studio or joining a retreat, you are part of a community. We emphasize breathing (Pranayama) and internal cleansing as much as we focus on flexibility.
If you are dealing with chronic issues like Sciatica, Frozen Shoulder, or digestive trouble, we will focus on targeted protocols. My goal is to make natural healing simple, doable, and joyful.
