When I DJ, I do not just hit play. I often mix in live percussion like the Guiro and Cowbell to catch those subtle rhythmic shifts in Salsa and Bachata tracks. - The Cowbell: This drives the intensity. It usually hits on the heavy, driving beats that get the crowd moving.
- The Guiro: That distinct scraping sound adds texture and keeps the momentum going, which is essential for smooth Salsa Romantica sets.
