About Kizomba & Other Styles
When I curate sets for Kizomba or Bachata Sensual, my priority is keeping the energy smooth but grounded. I avoid commercial radio edits, choosing instead to play authentic tracks that help partners stay connected throughout the dance.
My sets are designed for dancers who want more than just background noise. While Salsa is my foundation, I find that mixing in Kizomba and Bachata allows for a much richer arc over the course of an evening. I look for tracks with deep bass lines and consistent rhythm sections, which are crucial for the slow, grounded style of Kizomba.
When you hire me for a social or a private party, we can discuss the ratio of genres you prefer. I often transition from uptempo Salsa into smoother Afro-Latin tracks to give the crowd a chance to catch their breath without killing the vibe. If you are hosting a specialized workshop or a thematic evening in Mumbai, I can also adjust my playlist to match the specific dance styles you plan to teach.
