This peach and pink lehenga set is soft and feminine. The organza skirt has a lovely print, paired with a simple raw silk blouse featuring delicate embroidery on the neckline. The look is completed with a deep pink embroidered dupatta.
A modern take on the traditional lehenga. This vibrant red outfit features a full-sleeve crop top made from sheer lace, paired with a matching red lace skirt. It's a perfect fusion of classic color and contemporary style.
This is me, wearing one of my own creations. I designed this red and purple traditional lehenga because I believe in feeling confident and beautiful in clothes that celebrate our culture and our bodies, just as they are.
About Traditional Lehengas & Langa Davnis
When I transform your old Kanchi silk saree into a Pattu Lehenga, I don't just stitch fabric. I analyze the border placement to decide between box pleats, Kalis, or an umbrella cut, ensuring the most intricate parts of the pallu are showcased on your dupatta or blouse. My focus is to save the soul of your saree while giving you a fresh, perfect fit that you will actually want to wear.
Turning Old Memories Into New Outfits
I believe your old Kanchi silk sarees hold memories that shouldn't stay in a cupboard. My Pattu Lehenga transformation process is all about 'nimma sarige suit aago tara'—making it suit you perfectly.
I personally oversee the strategic cutting to preserve your saree's heavy borders and pallu, turning them into a cohesive design for the blouse or dupatta. Depending on the fabric's weight, we discuss if a Box Pleat, Kali, or Umbrella cut will give you the best silhouette.
Construction & Comfort
I am obsessed with the details you don't always see in photos, but definitely feel when wearing the outfit:
- Volume: Every lehenga gets a structured finish with 12 to 14 inches of high-quality, hard Net (Can-Can) for that perfect, airy flair.
- Lining: No scratching or discomfort. I use high-quality Cotton or soft Crepe lining (4 to 6 meters) to ensure the outfit feels great against your skin for hours.
- Finishing: Horsehair braid at the hemline for stiffness and concealed, heavy-duty zippers for a seamless look.
Designed for Every Body
I don't believe in hiding shapes. Whether you are curvy or petite, my patterns are constructed to be flattering. We will go through the design consultation together to choose necklines and sleeve styles that you feel confident in. If you have a Pinterest inspiration board, bring it along—or just bring the saree and a feeling of what you want, and we will build it together.
