About Custom Lehengas, Gowns & Indo-Western Outfits
Why I Design
For years, I felt out of place in my own clothes. Now, I want you to feel proud and confident in yours. Each outfit I make is about more than just the look - it's about how you feel wearing it. Whether it's a bridal lehenga or a Mahurtham blouse, I know it's not just fabric, it's a memory.
Custom Outfits, Your Way
If you have a dream outfit in mind, I can help make it real.
- Traditional Pattu Langa, Langa Davni (half sarees), Haldi and Sangeet crop tops
- Dramatic ball gowns, frilly birthday dresses, elegant reception looks
- Modern Indo-Western fusion wear - pantsuits in brocade, gowns with attached dupatta
No idea is too wild. Bring your Pinterest board, or just a feeling - we’ll create together.
Body-Positive Fashion
I don’t believe in hiding shapes. I specialise in plus-size custom gowns and outfits that flatter your body and make you feel amazing. No awkward fits, no compromises.
Kids & Memories
I love making occasion wear for little ones - capes, tiny gowns, matching sibling sets.
Got an old Kanchi silk saree? Let’s upcycle it into something new - maybe a pleated lehenga or an Anarkali gown, nimma saree style (in your saree’s style).
Details that Matter
I’m obsessed with volume - can-can, layers, meters of net. Luxe fabrics like silk, georgette, organza. Finishing with handwork, beads, capes, unique necklines. Every little thing counts.

My Story
Hello hi, ellarigunu! I’m Divya. Nine years, one boutique, Alankar Designer Studio, and a lot of heart. I’ve stitched for celebs and regular folks. Funny thing, I never felt comfy in my own skin – always in loose shirts, skipping weddings. Started my weight loss, not for quick fix, but for me. Amma Marikamba blesses, I believe. First time in a decade, I wore my own design for a photoshoot. Emotional! Now, I celebrate myself and my work. Oh, and I married my bestie – real love needs real effort.
My Work
Custom Design for Everyone - I create bridal wear, Western gowns, Indowestern outfits, lehengas, anarkalis, and even sibling matching outfits.
Blouse and Dress Tailoring - Bring your saree, nimma sarige suit aago tara (we’ll make it suit you) – custom blouse designs, your budget, your style.
Ball Gowns with Layers - For ball gowns, I show you the process – can-can, crepe, satin, net. All step-by-step, so you know what’s happening.
Upcycled Pattu Lehenga - Old silk sarees? I turn them into fresh, upcycled pattu lehengas. Very popular, especially for traditional events.
Plus-size and Confidence - Beauty is all shapes. I design plus-size Indo-Western gowns with dupatta – flattering, comfy, and confidence boosting.
