Custom Birthday Ball Gowns (5-Layer)
Fabric & 5-Layer Construction
- Layer 1 (Skin Contact): Pre-washed pure cotton lining to prevent itching and absorb sweat.
- Layer 2 & 3 (Structure): Soft crepe for shape retention and a hard Can-Can mesh skirt for the umbrella volume.
- Layer 4 & 5 (Visuals): Satin or Shimmer base topped with 25-35 meters of soft net (plain, sparkle, or embroidered) for the cloud effect.
Design & Handwork
- Yoke Detailing: Custom hand-embroidery using beads, pearls, and crystal stones or draped ruffles on the chest.
- Sleeves: Options for off-shoulder with elastic grip, ruffle sleeves, or sleeveless with soft edging.
- Closure: Long concealed YKK zipper, hook and eye, and a satin tie-back belt for waist adjustment.
Fit & Deliverables
- Growth Room: 1.5 inch inner margin included for future height or width alterations.
- Accessories: Includes a matching hair bow clip or hairband made from the gown fabric.
- Delivery: Steam-ironed and packed in a transparent garment cover.
Traditional Silk Lehengas & Maggam Work
The Langa (Skirt)
- Fabric: Floor-length Traditional Silk, Banarasi Brocade, or Kalamkari print fabric.
- Borders: Wide Gold or Silver Zari borders attached at the hemline.
- Structure: Soft cotton lining attached inside; adjustable waist with drawstring (Naada) and hook closure.
The Blouse (Top)
- Style: Custom-tailored long choli or crop top with back opening (hooks or tie-up dori with tassels).
- Maggam Work: Hand-embroidered neckline and sleeve borders using Zardosi, thread work, beads, and stones.
- Motifs: Traditional designs like Peacocks, Lotuses, or floral creepers.
- Finish: Piping on the neckline and sleeves for a scratch-free finish.
Extras
- Growth Buffer: 2 inch margins inside the blouse to expand as the child grows.
- Accessories: Includes matching fabric scrunchie or tick-tack clips.
Matching Sibling Combo Set (Boy & Girl)
Girl's Outfit
- Type: Choice of Box-pleat Gown, Off-shoulder Ball Gown, or Crop-top Lehenga.
- Specs: Includes the full 5-layer construction, can-can volume, and cotton lining found in the standalone gowns.
- Decor: Heavy beadwork or embroidery on the bodice that strictly matches the brother's outfit accents.
Boy's Outfit
- Kurta: Premium Raw Silk or Cotton Silk blend with custom fit (full or rolled-up sleeves).
- Bottom: Chudidar or straight-cut pyjama pants with an elasticated waist.
- Handwork: Detailed embroidery on the collar, cuffs, and pocket square to match the sister's dress.
Coordination & Fit
- Theme: Exact dye-match fabrics or complementary contrast colors across both outfits.
- Styling: Matching buttons on the boy's kurta made from the girl's gown fabric.
- Trials: Includes up to 2 fitting sessions to ensure fit for both children.

My Story
Hello hi, ellarigunu! I’m Divya. Nine years, one boutique, Alankar Designer Studio, and a lot of heart. I’ve stitched for celebs and regular folks. Funny thing, I never felt comfy in my own skin – always in loose shirts, skipping weddings. Started my weight loss, not for quick fix, but for me. Amma Marikamba blesses, I believe.
