I had the pleasure of designing this lavender outfit for the movie 'Ravike Prasanga'. It’s an Indo-Western half saree style, with a modern draped skirt and a white embroidered blouse with sheer, ruffled sleeves.

About Modern Indo-Western Styles
When I craft a fusion piece, like a brocade pantsuit, I focus on the hard fusing and structured interlining so the jacket holds its shape without feeling restrictive. I want my clients to have that sharp, modern look while still being able to move comfortably, just like I do when I wear my own designs.
Modern fashion is about blending the best of both worlds. Whether it is taking a heavy silk brocade and turning it into a sharp, western-style blazer or creating a pre-draped skirt that moves like a western gown but feels like a traditional saree, my goal is to give you something unique.
My Approach to Fusion Wear
I approach Indo-Western outfits with the same care I give to traditional wear. For pantsuits and structured sets, I use hard interlining for jackets to provide that crisp, formal structure that defines a good suit. For drapes, I utilize soft butter crepe linings to ensure the fabric falls fluidly against your body. It is never about just putting two styles together; it is about engineering the piece to flatter your shape.
