About Movement for Healing
Forget about perfect posture or matching steps to a beat. In these sessions, we use breath and gentle guidance to move freely, often acting as a form of release after a long week. Whether you have never danced in your life or just need a safe space to decompress, you will find a rhythm that feels uniquely yours here.
Why Movement Therapy?
Most fitness culture pushes for calorie counting or perfecting a routine. I started these workshops to shift that focus. When you stop worrying about looking a certain way, you begin to actually feel the music and your own emotions. It is about using the studio space as a canvas, where your body creates the art, not the steps.
What happens in a session?
Each session is structured around three key elements:
- Breathwork: Grounding yourself before we begin.
- Guided Exploration: Instead of learning a set routine, I guide you through prompts to help you express yourself.
- Community: You are moving alongside people who are all looking for the same relief, creating a non-judgmental atmosphere.
Designed for Beginners
If you have ever felt intimidated by dance classes or gym culture, this is your entry point. You do not need to be strong, flexible, or a dancer to join. My studio in Chhatarpur is a dedicated, private space where the only goal is to find comfort in your own skin.
