I started these sessions because I know exactly how burnout feels. Think of this not as a dance class where you memorize steps, but as a safe, judgement-free space to breathe, release, and reconnect with yourself.

Sometimes, movement is the best therapy. This is a look inside one of my healing workshops, where the goal isn't perfect steps, but pure emotional release and self-connection. As one student said, it feels like being a child again, free to play and explore.

What does it mean to "paint with your body"? This workshop is my answer. It's about using the space around you as a canvas and your body as the brush, letting your emotions guide your movement without fear of getting the steps "right".

About Movement as Therapy: Heal & Connect

You don't need any dance experience to join. In our sessions, including the 'Paint with your body' workshops, we use breathwork and fluid movement as a way to process emotions rather than focusing on technique. It is just you, the music, and a chance to let go of the week's stress in a supportive environment.

Why I created this space

I spent years in a 9-6 corporate job where my head was constantly spinning and my body felt stiff. I needed an escape, but I didn't find it in high-pressure gyms or rigid dance academies. That is why I created this specific cluster. Whether it's through guided meditation or our 'Paint with your body' sessions, the goal here is healing, not performance.

What happens in a session

These workshops usually run for 60 to 90 minutes. We start by slowing down, focusing on breathwork, and checking in with how we are feeling. We then move into guided movement where I encourage you to use the space around you as your canvas. There are no 'wrong' steps because the movement comes from your own emotions and energy, not from mimicking me.

Who this is for

This is for everyone. Whether you have never danced a day in your life or you are a professional looking to explore the therapeutic side of movement, you are welcome. We keep the groups small and the energy high, but gentle.

Practical details

  • Location: My studio in Chhatarpur, Delhi.
  • What to bring: Wear comfortable clothes you can easily move in, a small towel, socks, and a bottle of water. That is literally it.
  • The vibe: We are a non-judgmental community. We laugh, we stretch, we sometimes sit in silence, and we always leave feeling a little lighter than when we walked in.
