I create spaces where poetry meets resistance and healing. Through guided workshops and collaborative art, we reframe personal stories, challenge the status quo, and find fresh ways to understand ourselves.

A reflective writing session on countering hate speech through poetry. Throughout history, poetry has been a powerful force against hatred, and we tap into that legacy.

A workshop exploring what neurodivergent identities and poetry share: they both defy the norm. This session is for anyone who feels like a square peg in a round hole.

In collaboration with The Sarvodya Collective, we use poetry to imagine a truly diverse, neuro-affirming world where every mind can thrive.

The 'Artist's Pharmacy', a two-day workshop on healing yourself through writing and art, presented with Sahaayta.

What would an artist's pharmacy look like? This workshop combines poetry and zine-crafting to find a remedy for the despairs and dreams of life.

Day 1 of the 'Artist's Pharmacy' focuses on poetry writing. We work through grief and healing using prescribed poetry from Virginia Woolf, Mary Oliver, and Rainer Maria Rilke.

Day 2 of the 'Artist's Pharmacy' is about zine making. We bring the poetry from day one to life, creating an 8-pager zine with various materials and formats.

The workshop culminates in an evening performance and zine-selling event, with all proceeds going to UNHCR. It's about creating and giving back.

A brief bio of me as the facilitator for the 'Artist's Pharmacy' workshop, highlighting my work in experiential poetry and healing walks.

About Art for Healing & Social Change

We do not just write. We practice an 'Artist's Pharmacy' approach where we use sensory prompts and zine-crafting to move through grief, explore neurodivergent identities, and dismantle the 'normal.' It is about taking the heavy, complex parts of life and finding a way to hold them on paper.

Art serves as a mirror and a tool. Whether we are counter-acting hate speech or exploring what it means to be neurodivergent, these workshops are designed to bypass the 'rational' brain and access something deeper. We operate in small, intimate cohorts of 7 to 15 people to ensure that every voice is held in a safe, non-judgmental space.

The Process

We combine established poetic voices like Rilke, Mary Oliver, and Virginia Woolf with our own lived experiences. In our Zine-making intensives, poetry transforms into a tactile, visual object. You leave with a physical 8-page zine, a tangible remedy for the despairs or dreams we navigated together.

Where We Gather

We partner with creative hubs across Delhi NCR and Bangalore, such as Kunzum or Alliance Francaise, to ensure the environment is as conducive to reflection as the exercises themselves. This is about community—connecting with square pegs, artists, and anyone needing a space to be seen and understood. There are no experts here, only a collective movement toward self-expression and social awareness.

I am Rachit, and I founded Dillipoetry to pull art off the stage and into our daily lives. I believe poetry is a portal for climate, identity, and resistance, and my goal is to create the conditions where your own poems can appear.
