poetry is a portal, not a performance. whether we are wandering through lodhi gardens or finding rhythm in a cup of coffee, i create the space for your own words to surface. no rules, just shared breath and blank pages waiting for your story.

A glimpse into the movement and reflection that happens in our sessions. I create a space where poetry is felt in the body, a gentle nudge towards what you believe and feel. This is a place for healing, introspection, and creative recharging.

Announcing 'Café de Poetry', one of my unique sensory workshops. We explore the notes of specialty coffee and let them brew into poems. It's an intimate session for both new and practicing writers to find inspiration in taste and smell.

We take poetry to the streets. This is a look at 'The Road Taken', a poetry walk-workshop through Delhi. We let the city write with us, capturing its light, texture, and rhythm in verse.

The 'Artist's Pharmacy' is a two-day journey into healing through poetry and zine-making. We work through emotions with words and then give them a vibrant visual form, creating a space for art to be a remedy.

I often collaborate with cultural institutions like the Alliance Française de Delhi. This poster is for 'The Rime of the Ocean', an immersive workshop exploring the vastness within and without, set within a beautiful exhibition.

Poetry as a form of solidarity. This workshop, 'We Teach Life, sir', was created to gather, reflect, and raise funds for Palestine. I believe in using our words to support and honor the voices that need to be heard.

I was honored to perform at the BBC Contains Strong Language festival in Leeds. Bringing the work we do at DilliPoetry to an international stage is a dream, connecting with poets and audiences from around the world.

A poem of my own, 'Lodhi's'. My personal writing is the wellspring for my workshops. It’s my way of paying attention to the world, and I hope to help you find your own way of doing the same.

About Featured

my workshops are not classrooms, and there is no curriculum to master. we begin with sensory anchors, like the bitterness of specialty coffee, the rustle of leaves in lodhi gardens, or the rhythm of delhi streets, to bypass the logic of the mind and let the poem emerge. you do not need to be a writer to join. you only need to be willing to look at what you usually overlook.
