About Guided Poetry Walks
What I Offer
I try to pull poetry down from its pedestal and bring it into the everyday. On my guided poetry walks, we step outside—sometimes into city parks, other times through the heart of Delhi or Bangalore—and let poetry meet us where we are. Picture it: a reflective poetry journey that’s part forest bathing, part writing session, part just soaking in the world around us.
Who Can Join?
Anyone who’s curious, whether you’re a poet or just someone who never “got” poetry. No pressure to write or read out loud unless you want to. I create a space where you can simply listen, reflect, or share—sabko jagah hai yahan (everyone’s welcome here).
Types of Walks
- Lyrical & Poetic Healing Walks: Slow, mindful strolls using poems and stories to help you tune in to nature and yourself.
- Poetry Writing Walk-Workshops: We wander, write, and you leave with a piece that’s truly yours.
- Urban poetry exploration: We even hit the streets, capturing the poetry of city life—Delhi ki galiyan, Bangalore ke parks (the lanes of Delhi, the parks of Bangalore).
Themes We Explore
Every walk’s different. Sometimes we follow the words of poets like Mary Oliver, Tagore, or queer poets. Other times, we dive into nature’s verse, or unpack resistance, love, climate, or everyday city life.
The Details
Walks last around 2 to 2.5 hours, in small groups for that personal feel. Custom walks for groups are also possible. Come for the poetry nature immersion walk, or just to pause and be—no judgment, no pretence.

My Story
Hi, I’m Rachit, the one behind Dillipoetry. I just wanted poetry to get off the stage, into our bones, into Delhi’s air. Two years back, I started Lyrical Walks—felt poetry with feet and heart, not just words. For me, poetry is a portal: climate, queerness, identity, resistance, all tangled in verse. My words travel, but the real magic? It’s in small circles, forest walks, blank pages dented by real people, one poem at a time.
My Work
Poetic Healing Forest Walks - We wander together, letting poetry grow in the wild, feeling each word in our bodies.
Immersive Poetry Workshops - No teaching, just making space for poems to show up. Prompts, nature, and deep reflection guide us.
Intimate Poetry Salons & Literary Performances - Small gatherings, honest sharing, curated readings—where verse meets life, no filters.
Open to All - Queer, curious, artist, beginner—doesn’t matter. If poetry feels alive to you, you belong here.
