Whether it is the quiet rhythm of a poetry reading or the energy of a theatrical performance, my space is built for voices to be heard. Step onto the performance floor and find your audience.

'Inheriting Shadows', a powerful spoken word performance by the Non-Aligned Poets Collective. Our stage hosts performances that are a poetic reckoning with history and memory.

'Butter & Mashed Banana', a razor-sharp theatrical reading. We provide a space for experimental theatre and satire that dives into politics, poetry, and identity.

Our 'Let Poetry Be' monthly open mic is a space where words breathe. We welcome all forms and languages, celebrating every voice in our vibrant poetry community.

A poet lost in her words during a performance. Our stage is an intimate space, creating a powerful connection between the artist and the audience.

Another poster for our 'Let Poetry Be' open mic. It is a recurring event where participants can read to music, dramatise, or use props to bring their poetry to life.

The 20th Poetry Conclave by the Non-Aligned Poets Collective. We are honored to be the venue for such milestones, celebrating the journeys of poets and collectives.

Exploring paths untaken through verse. The theme for this month's 'Let Poetry Be' open mic invites poets to reflect on the 'what ifs' of life.

"We Are Our Memories". The theme for our November open mic, inviting poets to explore the connection between memory and identity through their verses.

'Risking Delight', a poetry reading and discussion from our AG Chamber Series. Here, Tuhin Bhowal explores the work of Kedarnath Singh, juxtaposing joy and despair.

About The Stage is Yours: Poetry, Theatre & Open Mics

My performance floor is intentionally intimate, designed as a 100-seat room where the boundary between artist and audience blurs. You will not find high-production glare here; instead, it is a space where the acoustics and the closeness allow your voice—whether it is a whisper or a roar—to land exactly where it needs to.

At the heart of my performance space is the 'Let Poetry Be' monthly open mic. This is not a competitive stage—it is a collective room for Bangalore’s poets to experiment, test new verses, or simply share their truth. I welcome performers who use props, music, or just their bare voices. If you have been looking for an open mic in Indiranagar where no one asks for credentials, this is your home.

For those who prefer deeper literary engagements, my 'AG Chamber Series' hosts readings and discussions that strip away the noise, focusing entirely on the craft and the conversation. These sessions are perfect for discovering how authors process their work or how theatre directors interpret a script.

I provide the tech, the lighting, and the receptive audience; you bring the story. I am a space that values the 'galatta'—the happy chaos of people meeting and creating—so whether you are a debut poet or a regular reader, you are already part of the line-up. From experimental theatre that dives into satire to poignant spoken word performances, the stage is set for whatever you want to express.
