About Intimate 'Baithak' Concerts

A Baithak is a conversation between the sitar and the listener. In this format, I prefer an audience of 10 to 40 people to ensure the acoustics remain crisp and the connection feels personal. I arrive 45 minutes before we begin to tune the instrument specifically for your room’s natural acoustics, ensuring that every note of the Alaap or Jhala reaches you exactly as it should.
