We designed this creative incubator to be a fluid environment that fosters both collaboration and individual focus. This view shows how different activities can coexist harmoniously, with a dedicated music and recording area flowing into a quiet reading nook, embodying our principle of creating multi-zonal, interconnected spaces.
In this retail project, we used ephemeral elements like sheer, motorized curtains to create a sense of discovery. The design creates a serene, pod-like sanctuary for the display bed, separating it from the main space while maintaining a light, veiled connection that invites curiosity.
The central zone of our 'Chasing Tales' project was conceived as a versatile stage for community engagement. Here, it is configured for a live performance, demonstrating the space's capacity to transform from a co-working area into a vibrant venue for cultural events.
We believe architecture should engage the senses. For 'The Veiled Project', we used rough pebble stone flooring to intentionally slow a visitor's pace, encouraging a mindful, tactile experience of traversing the space and creating a transition to softer, quieter zones.
This bar, part of a larger architectural gesture, features a Gabion wall facia. We contained randomly sized stones within a metal wire mesh to introduce a raw, textural element that contrasts with the monolithic black surfaces, creating a point of material drama and interest.
This animated plan for the 'Chasing Tales' incubator illustrates the functional versatility we designed into the layout. It demonstrates how the space seamlessly transitions between different configurations, from a yoga studio to a photography set, optimizing it for a variety of creative and commercial uses.
The café serves as the social heart of the 'Chasing Tales' creative incubator, designed to foster interaction and visual connectivity. We positioned it at the entrance to welcome visitors and create a seamless flow between the public social space and the more private work zones within.
About this collection
Our design approach prioritizes structural clarity and the psychological impact of a space. We move beyond simple aesthetics by defining distinct zones through materiality, using elements like stone-filled Gabion walls, lime plaster, or motorized partitions to ensure every environment serves its functional purpose while maintaining a coherent architectural diagram.
Our portfolio reflects a commitment to architectural precision. In projects like 'Chasing Tales,' we demonstrated how a commercial interior can function as a fluid incubator. The layout optimizes spatial usage by balancing a central stage—designed for yoga, events, and performances—with surrounding acoustic pods for focused work. This multi-zonal strategy ensures social connectivity remains high without sacrificing the need for individual concentration.
Conversely, our retail projects, such as 'The Veiled Project,' investigate the concept of sensory discovery. We utilize kinetic elements, including motorized curtain systems and contrasting floor textures like rough pebble stone versus tatami mats, to manipulate the speed at which a visitor traverses the space. These interventions are not merely decorative; they are engineered to evoke calm and invite curiosity.
We apply this same level of technical rigor to hospitality spaces, where we integrate infrastructure—HVAC, fire systems, and lighting—within open, exposed ceilings. Our reliance on a monochromatic palette allows the inherent texture of materials to emerge, creating dramatic volume and depth. Whether designing a workspace or a high-end retail boutique, our intent remains consistent: to manipulate light, volume, and materiality to create a space that feels both grounded and distinct.
