Getting kids off screens and onto the mat is all about making it fun. My sessions use games and storytelling to build focus, flexibility, and confidence, one playful pose at a time.

About Kids Yoga: Fun & Focus
Kids do not learn by following rigid instructions; they learn by moving and playing. In my sessions, we turn traditional yoga poses into stories and games, which keeps them engaged while they naturally improve their balance, focus, and strength. It is not about forcing them to sit still; it is about using their natural energy in a positive way that helps them calm down and concentrate better afterward.
Building Healthy Habits Through Play
Yoga for kids is not about achieving the perfect pose. It is about discovery, movement, and learning to understand their own bodies. In my Rohini studio and online classes, I use a variety of techniques to keep children engaged:
- Storytelling Poses: We do not just do 'tree pose'; we become the tree, swaying in the wind to improve balance.
- Breathing Games: Techniques like Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) are taught as simple games to help them manage exam stress or screen-time fatigue.
- Active Engagement: We focus on physical activity that counters sedentary habits, ensuring they get the exercise they need while having fun.
