My Philosophy and Journey as a Coach

I learned from my ashan in Kerala, and today I carry those same principles to the mat in Bengaluru. Coaching isn't just a job; it’s a responsibility I take seriously for every student who walks through my door.

In this video, I explain my view on coaching. A coach earns his name when his student performs, and a student needs a good coach to perform. It is a relationship built on respect and a shared goal.

Clips from a podcast where I discuss my career, from starting martial arts as a child in Kerala to fighting in the octagon. I also share my thoughts on why it is important to let kids choose their own path in sports.

A smile from the heart. Outside the gym, I am a family man, but the principles of discipline and hard work are always with me.

About this collection

A coach only earns his name when the student performs, and a student needs a coach to get there. It’s a two-way street. In my gym, you won’t find shortcuts or flashiness. You’ll find direct, hands-on guidance where I personally oversee technique, pad work, and mental conditioning to ensure you're getting real results.

My journey started when I was 10 years old on the streets of Kerala. That background is why I don't believe in teaching students to just look good for social media. When you train with me at BFC Bodyforce, we focus on what works in real-world scenarios—whether you are an adult learning self-defense or a kid building discipline for life.

Why My Approach is Different

  • No-Nonsense Coaching: I don't just instruct; I educate. Every drill has a purpose. We spend time on stance, footwork, and the basics because that is the foundation of a real fighter.
  • Family Environment: I train my own son and daughter here. This means the safety standards, the equipment, and the training intensity are all tested to the level I demand for my own family.
  • Discipline as the Weapon: As I always tell my students, fear is the fuel, but discipline is the real weapon. We keep the gym atmosphere grounded, sweaty, and real. We train on high-density mats in a naturally ventilated environment because true toughness is built, not given.

If you are looking for a place where you can hide in the back or skip the hard work, this is not the place for you. But if you want to learn honest MMA, kickboxing, or boxing with a team that has your back, then step onto the mat. We are here to build champions, not just burn calories.

I’ve fought in the Octagon and learned on the streets of Kerala, and now I bring that same grit to BFC Bodyforce. I train my own kids on these same mats, so you know the discipline and safety here are real.
