Training My Own: Family Martial Arts in Bengaluru
I train my own son and daughter right alongside my students. They aren't special cases; they learn under the same principles of discipline, safety, and respect that I teach everyone else.
This is our journey together, from 2012 to 2024. It shows how starting young and staying consistent builds a strong martial artist and an even stronger bond. This is a long term commitment to fitness and discipline.
My daughter showing the results of dedicated practice with a powerful high kick. We focus on building flexibility, strength, and perfect form from a young age. This is the kind of skill and confidence martial arts can build.
Here I am doing kickboxing pad work with my daughter. This kind of one on one training helps develop timing, power, and accuracy. I teach her the same way I teach all my students, with focus and attention to detail.
Being a father and a coach means teaching life lessons. Here, I am watching my son practice his kicks, guiding his technique. It is about passing on the art form correctly.
Father and son training together. We are working on boxing drills, focusing on head movement and counter punching. This is how we build sharp skills and a strong connection.
We teach more than just kicking and punching. Here, I am teaching my son traditional stick rotation techniques from arts like Kalaripayattu. This improves coordination and provides a deeper understanding of martial arts.
A look back at my son's transformation through the years. From a young boy to a disciplined young athlete, you can see the physical and mental strength that comes from consistent training.
About this collection
People often ask if I go easy on my own kids in the gym. The answer is no. If anything, they get the most unfiltered feedback because they have to represent what I stand for. Whether it is boxing drills or Kalaripayattu, my son and daughter are held to the exact same standards of footwork and aggression as anyone else.
When you walk into BFC Bodyforce, you see more than just athletes. You see a family. My son and daughter are on the mats daily, sweating and learning just like every other student. I believe in practicing what I preach. If I expect a student to push through exhaustion during pad work or master a complex Silambam stick rotation, my own children must demonstrate the same commitment. We don't have air conditioning or fancy machines because fighting is about building heat tolerance and mental grit, not comfort. After every session, we have a 'Mat Chat' where we talk about respect and discipline, not just punches. This is not a daycare; it is a space where your child learns that consistent, honest effort is the only way to get results. Whether you are in our Horamavu or Richards Town facility, you get the same coaching—no shortcuts, just real techniques that work in the ring and in life. We focus on fundamentals like stance and combinations for beginners, while offering intense conditioning for those ready to compete. My coaching philosophy remains consistent: fear is the fuel, but discipline is the weapon.

I am 'The Cut Man', and I have been fighting since I was ten. I built this gym so my kids and yours could learn what it actually means to be a martial artist, with zero fluff and real training.
