Advanced Movement: Pole & Aerial Arts
Fitness can be expressive and empowering. I fell in love with pole and aerial arts during my own recovery, and it is proof of how a strong, functional body can learn new, challenging skills.
Trying something new with the lollipop lyra. This combines the strength of pole with the grace of an aerial hoop. It's a testament to how building a strong foundation allows you to explore and enjoy different fitness disciplines.
This video shows me challenging my body with new learnings in pole. Every session is a chance to build strength, coordination, and confidence. It's a full-body workout that feels more like play than work.
When I was struggling to walk, I decided to learn to fly. Here I am, a certified Aerial Yoga Instructor. This practice is incredible for decompression, building core strength, and improving flexibility.
Back to training with aerial yoga. This practice helps build upper body and core strength while decompressing the spine. It's a perfect complement to strength training for a well-rounded fitness routine.
About Advanced Movement: Pole & Aerial Arts
When I teach pole or aerial arts, we do not just focus on the tricks. We look at your joint stability first. I use the same mobility flows that got me back on my feet after my ACL tears to make sure your aerial practice actually builds strength rather than causing wear and tear. It is all about finding a version of these moves that works for your unique body, even if you are working around an injury.
Whether you are looking to build raw upper body power or just want a new way to stay active, pole and aerial arts are about more than just the aesthetic. They are incredibly effective for functional mobility. My approach is simple: safety first. We start with conditioning exercises that protect your joints before we ever hang from the hammock or mount the pole.
For my clients in Delhi, I focus on adapting these movements to your current capability. If you are struggling with a lingering injury, trust me, I get it. I learned to fly on a silk hammock specifically because I was struggling to walk on my own two feet. We focus on:
- Aerial Yoga: Great for spinal decompression and building core strength without high-impact stress on your knees.
- Pole Conditioning: We break down the moves so you are never straining joints that are not ready for the load.
- Mobility Flows: Essential for anyone who spends all day sitting at a desk.
Kaam toh ek nasha hai (work is an addiction), but it should never cost you your health. If you are a beginner or scared that your body is too broken to try this, reach out. Let’s talk about how we can start safe and get you moving with confidence.

I am not just your coach, I am the first student of my own methods. My body has been through two torn ACLs, so I understand the hesitation that comes with trying new movements. I teach pole and aerial arts not to show off, but to help you reclaim your body, trust your joints again, and have fun doing it.
