Featured Architectural Projects and Design Highlights
A curated selection of our work where daylight, honest materials, and context-sensitive design come together to create purposeful spaces.
This is the Split House, a project where I focused on creating a seamless connection with nature. The floating staircase is surrounded by indoor plants and bathed in sunlight from a large skylight, turning a simple transition into a serene experience.
For the Amber Encase clubhouse, I used a bold, monochromatic yellow to create an immersive and energetic corridor. The reflective ceiling doubles the impact of the color, making the space feel endless and dynamic.
I believe light is a building material. In the House Above The Tree, I designed a perforated *jaali* screen that casts intricate, moving patterns on the walls, creating a living artwork that changes throughout the day.
In the double-height dining area of the Split House, a large wooden bridge connects the upper floors. This feature, combined with indoor trees and a massive skylight, blurs the line between inside and out, making the home feel like a part of the landscape.
This space from 'An Earthy Affair' showcases my love for an honest material palette. The exposed brick walls provide a warm, textured backdrop to the open-plan living area, creating a home that feels grounded and authentic.
I design spaces for living. This indoor swing and wide, sittable staircase in the Janani House are examples of how I incorporate playful and functional details that encourage relaxation and family interaction.
This is from a minimalist workspace I designed, called 'Acutely Bare'. The design uses strong geometric forms and a restrained palette of concrete and wood to create a focused, uncluttered, and inspiring office environment.
A glimpse into my design process with a 3D visualization for the 'House on Water' concept. This rendering shows how I plan for open, light-filled living spaces that integrate water features and greenery directly into the home's architecture.
About Featured
We believe a house becomes a home when it responds to the lives of its residents through intentional design. In projects like the Split House, we did not just design a floor plan; we engineered a skylight that changes the volume of the room as the sun moves, creating a shifting atmosphere that links your living area directly to the sky and landscape.
Our design approach is rooted in the philosophy that good design is not about what we can add, but about what we can meaningfully retain. We prioritize natural light as a primary building material, often using perforated jaali screens, double-height volumes, and open-plan layouts to ensure every corner of a space serves a function.
Whether we are working on a private residence in a dense urban plot or a boutique commercial office, our process remains consistent. We start by analyzing the site context—sun path, wind direction, and existing vegetation—to ground the architecture in its surroundings. This is followed by a transparent development phase where we provide detailed 3D visualizations and GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, so you know exactly what is being built before the first brick is laid.
Our material palette leans heavily towards the earthy and honest: exposed brick, concrete, teak, and natural stone. We prefer finishes that age gracefully, allowing the building to weather and settle into its environment over time. Collaboration is at the core of what we do; from initial sketches to site supervision, we work closely with structural consultants, contractors, and artisans to ensure the final execution matches the design intent perfectly.
