Featured Architectural Projects and Spatial Design
A selection of our core work, showcasing the balance between simple, efficient floor plates and complex, layered spaces rooted in nature.
This sectional render for 'Project 83' in Jayanagar, Bangalore, illustrates my approach to spatial design. It combines a dance studio, office space, and private residence within a single structure, using simple floor plates to create functionally complex and layered interiors. The design features a blend of exposed brick, concrete, and jaali screens.
An interior view of a private farmhouse project, showcasing a minimalist aesthetic. The space is defined by its clean lines, an earthy oxide floor, and a large window that fills the room with natural light, creating a serene connection with the outdoors.
A view from the 'Keremane' lake house project during its construction phase. The design intentionally frames the natural landscape, blurring the line between the indoor living space and the lakeside environment. This highlights my commitment to creating architecture that is deeply connected to its site.
This video documents the transformation of 'Project 83', from the original structure to the finished building. It provides a glimpse into the construction process, the material palette of brick and concrete, and the emergence of the final architectural form.
A conceptual render for an upcoming restobar, designed to be a vibrant social hub. The interior design concept uses a palette of exposed brick, large industrial windows, and lush greenery to create a welcoming atmosphere, complemented by a striking pop-art mural.
This detail from a farmhouse project emphasizes texture and light. The ribbed ceiling creates a dynamic play of shadows, while the gridded window frames the view of the surrounding nature, demonstrating how material choices can define a space.
I was honored to be recognized as the 'Most Emerging & Promising Interior Design, Product Design & Architectural Design Firm of the Year 2022'. This award is a testament to my commitment to design excellence and the trust my clients place in me.
The design process begins here, with layers of hand sketches and site planning. This initial conceptualization phase is crucial for brainstorming ideas, defining spatial relationships, and ensuring the final design is perfectly tailored to the site and the client's vision.
About Featured
Our design process begins with analyzing site orientation, sun-path, and wind direction to ensure your structure works in harmony with its environment. We focus on honest materials like exposed brick, Kota stone, and hand-polished oxide, creating spaces that feel raw yet sophisticated without requiring high-maintenance finishes. Whether we are designing a private farmhouse or a mixed-use commercial building, we prioritize spatial efficiency to ensure the architecture serves your lifestyle, not the other way around.
Our practice operates at the intersection of architecture, interior design, and art. We do not believe in forcing design onto a site; instead, we look at the constraints of the land, the flow of light, and the local climate to guide our choices.
The 'Simple Floor Plate' Philosophy
We take pride in a 'less is more' approach. You will notice this in projects like 'Project 83' in Jayanagar, where we managed to integrate a dance studio, office, and private residence into a single cohesive structure. By keeping the floor plates simple, we allow the interior volume to become complex and layered. This means less wasted space and a more intuitive flow for residents and visitors alike.
Material Integrity
We advocate for materials that age gracefully. We favor raw concrete, terracotta, wire-cut bricks, and lime plastering over synthetic finishes. These materials provide natural thermal insulation and bring a tactile warmth to the space. For our farmhouse projects, such as the 'Keremane' lake house, we utilized oxide flooring and large, open-span windows to blur the boundary between the indoors and the lakeside environment, ensuring that the architecture remains connected to the site.
Sustainable Execution
Sustainability is the foundation of our work. From planning rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling to using locally sourced materials, we aim to build responsibly. Our service covers everything from initial site analysis and GFC (Good for Construction) drawings to milestone-based site supervision. If you are looking for an architectural firm in Bengaluru that values biophilic design and precision detailing, we are here to help bring your vision to life.
