My Fitness Philosophy & Coaching Journey
Fitness is not about quick fixes for me; it is a way of life built on discipline. Here is a look at the mindset behind Adapt Fitness Club and why I believe the real transformation happens when you just show up.
This is my life. It's not about short term transformation programs. It's a lifestyle built on discipline, routine, and finding joy in the process, whether that's through bodybuilding, CrossFit, or changing up my nutrition.
Many people say they get bored working out alone, but I believe discipline is more important than motivation. I trained alone for years, and it taught me focus and self reliance. Your workout is for you, so show up for yourself, whether you are in a group or on your own.
What you do during your rest periods matters. Scrolling on your phone can easily turn 30 seconds into 3 minutes. I explain why it's important to stay focused on the task at hand to get the most out of your training.
Here I am, planning the day's workout on the whiteboard. Every session is thoughtfully programmed to challenge our members and help them progress towards their goals.
A candid moment of interaction and coaching during a class. My goal is to be present and engaged, providing feedback and encouragement to every member.
A training vlog from a day where I got back to working out after a four week break. I take you through my 6 AM session, coaching the kids class, and my own snatch and metcon workout.
A montage of my own training. From handstand walks in a metro station to heavy back squats and bar muscle ups, I practice what I preach. The grind is constant.
About this collection
Ever notice how a 30-second break between sets turns into three minutes because of your phone? That is where your progress dies. I tell my members to drop the phone and focus on breathing during those rest periods, because those small, disciplined choices inside the gym are exactly what lead to the real changes in your life.
Training is My Svadharma
For me, fitness is not just about moving weight; it is a duty—my svadharma. When I started training, I spent years alone, figuring things out in parks and small gyms. That isolation taught me that you cannot rely on motivation alone. Motivation is fleeting, but discipline keeps you going when you are tired, busy, or just don't feel like it.
Why I Teach CrossFit and Olympic Lifting
I moved from bodybuilding to CrossFit because I realized that training should challenge your mind as much as your body. At Adapt Fitness Club in Sector 106, Gurugram, we do not believe in rushing. Whether you are learning a snatch, a clean and jerk, or just getting comfortable with bodyweight movements, technique comes first.
- Consistency over Intensity: You do not need to destroy yourself every day. You need to show up every day.
- The Power of Routine: I cook my own meals and prep my day to avoid excuses. If you rely on the local thela (street food stall) for every meal, you are preparing for illness, not fitness.
- Community: While I trained alone for years, being part of a squad changes the game. My AFC family helps you push harder than you ever would on your own.
Whether you are a beginner looking to understand your body or an athlete prepping for a Hyrox race, my goal is the same: to give you the tools to train for life, not just for the gym. If you are ready to stop looking for shortcuts and start putting in the work, you are in the right place.
