Sprint & Speed Development Coaching
Explosive speed is built, not born. I focus on breaking down your race—from block starts to finishing mechanics—to help you cut seconds off your timing.
The race is won or lost in the first few seconds. We relentlessly drill starting block execution to ensure an explosive and powerful start every time.
This is what pure speed looks like. My sprinters training at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, pushing their limits in a high-intensity workout.
Finishing strong is non-negotiable. Here you can see the powerful running form and determination of one of my sprinters as she completes her race.
Perfecting the mechanics of sprinting is key. This video shows the stride length and arm action we work on to maximize efficiency and speed.
I am always there, watching every detail of the race. This helps me provide precise feedback to my athletes so they can improve with every run.
We train on all surfaces to build versatile and resilient athletes. Here, sprinters practice their starts on grass, which builds raw power and strengthens the legs.
About Sprint & Speed Development
Sprinting is 80% technique and 20% raw power. In my sessions, we focus on the small stuff—your first-step acceleration, block setup, and how you drive your arms in the final 50 meters. It is not just about running fast; it is about fixing the mechanics that are holding you back from hitting your personal best.
How We Build Speed
Speed isn't just about running harder; it is about running smarter. My training system is built on the reality of track physics. We don't just run laps—we deconstruct your gait.
- Block Starts & Acceleration: The race is often won or lost in the first 20 meters. We use metal starting blocks and resistance harnesses to train your explosive drive and first-step power.
- Technique Correction: I use frame-by-frame video analysis to fix your posture, foot strike, and arm action. If your form is leaking energy, we fix it.
- Surface Training: We train on everything—synthetic tracks at JLN Stadium for competition prep and natural grass or mud at Ramjas Sports Complex to build raw leg strength and stability.
- Race Craft: Whether you are running the 100m, 200m, or 400m, I teach you how to manage your energy and pace to ensure you have that kick at the finish line.
The System
I come from an Army background. I don't believe in shortcuts. My athletes put in the hours, they follow the drill, and they produce the results. Whether you are a school athlete aiming for a medal at the Delhi State games or preparing for Khelo India, my job is to hold you to the standard required to win.
We train in groups, which builds the competitive environment you need. When you are tired and want to quit, looking at the person next to you pushing harder is what gets you through. System hai bhai.
