About this collection

Arangetram is the culmination of months of centering, trimming, and firing, marking a student's debut as an artist. These exhibitions are not just displays; they represent hours of dedicated practice in our Koramangala studio, where students push the limits of glaze chemistry and design to tell their personal stories through clay.

Our exhibition clusters, Arangetram and Hunar, serve as the heartbeat of Clay Station. Arangetram represents our Foundation Course graduates, who spend 5 months mastering everything from clay preparation and wheel throwing to the complex chemistry of glaze formulation. When you see these pieces, you are seeing the result of that long, structured process—from a simple cylinder pull to a finished, double-fired ceramic form.

On the other hand, Hunar is our curated pop-up event where artists from our residency and advanced programs share their unique visions. These events are designed to give our potters a real-world experience, handling everything from curation and display setup to interacting with collectors. Whether it is a hand-built vase or a functional teapot set, every piece here reflects the 'hunar' (skill) nurtured in our studio space.

We regularly host these showcases to bridge the gap between studio practice and the professional art world. If you are looking to get started, our studio offers a range of paths, from one-day 'Rendezvous with Clay' workshops to the comprehensive 5-month Foundation Diploma. Visit us in Koramangala to see these pieces in person, or reach out to chat about finding your own style in clay.
