We help children navigate the world with greater ease and confidence. Our neurodiversity-affirming occupational therapy programs in Delhi and Gurugram focus on building motor coordination, planning, and executive functioning in supportive, small-group settings.

Our "Scribbles and Strokes" program helps children aged 7-12 strengthen foundational writing skills. Led by Occupational Therapists, this 12-week module uses creative games and movement to make writing easier and more enjoyable.

In our Grapho-Motor Skills Module, children explore foundational skills for writing through engaging activities. Here, two children learn together, demonstrating how our supportive, small-group setting fosters both learning and social interaction.

What are Grapho-Motor Skills? This graphic explains how these skills involve the physical actions needed for writing. Our program builds these abilities from the ground up, focusing on physical, visual, and coordination-based development.

Why do kids struggle with writing? It's often more than just "bad handwriting." This infographic breaks down common challenges like poor posture, weak hand-eye coordination, and delayed fine motor skills, which our occupational therapy programs are designed to address.

Our sessions focus on a wide range of skills essential for development. We work on postural control, gross and fine motor skills, visual perception, and executive function skills to provide a holistic foundation for academic and personal success.

From scribbles to confidence, our play-based writing activities support grapho-motor development. This program is designed to boost not just skill and focus, but also the self-esteem that comes from mastering a new challenge.

Why choose Children First for occupational therapy? Our groups are led by trained therapists, kept small (5-6 children) for focused attention, and use custom strategies in a fun, inclusive, and non-judgmental space.

Ready to help your child write with ease? Our 12-week program for ages 7-12 is designed to build confidence and skill. This image of a happy child giving a thumbs-up captures the positive and empowering atmosphere we create.

Join our "Move and Groove" Occupational Therapy Group! This program is designed to help children with sensory processing concerns and enhance their motor planning skills, building confidence for everyday life through joyful movement.

What are Praxis Skills? This graphic explains how praxis is the brain's ability to plan and carry out movement. Our "Move and Groove" group helps children develop this crucial skill for better control and coordination in daily tasks.

About Occupational Therapy: Building Skills Through Play

In our group sessions, we keep cohorts small—usually 5 to 6 children—to ensure every child receives active, personalized attention from our therapists. Rather than working in a sterile clinical setting, we use sensory gyms, bolster swings, and art materials to help children build foundational motor skills, whether they are working on pencil grip in 'Scribbles and Strokes' or navigating multi-step movements in 'Move and Groove'.
