I blend modern Lamaze techniques with traditional wisdom to help you move from fear to confidence, ensuring you feel respected, informed, and truly prepared for your baby's arrival.

I am proud to be a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE). This means my teaching is grounded in the latest evidence-based research, promoting a natural, healthy, and safe approach to pregnancy, birth, and early parenting.

Why take a birth preparation class? It boosts your confidence, helps your partner become a stronger presence, increases the likelihood of a vaginal birth, and improves your overall satisfaction with your birth experience.

My Labor and Comfort Measures class provides a comprehensive look at the birth journey. We cover everything from the stages of labor and coping techniques to understanding medical interventions, so you feel completely prepared.

Did you know that spontaneous labor most often begins at night? This is because your body is most relaxed. Letting labor begin on its own shortens its duration and reduces the need for interventions.

An incredible photo of an "en caul" birth, where the baby is born still inside the amniotic sac. This is a beautiful reminder that birth is unpredictable and that a woman's body and baby can do amazing things when left undisturbed.

Birth is a powerful, primal, and beautiful process, as depicted in these artworks. It takes time, trust, and teamwork between you, your baby, and your support system.

The end of pregnancy can feel like a waiting game! While it's tempting to feel anxious, waiting for labor to start on its own is best for you and your baby, unless there is a true medical reason to intervene.

About My Classes & Philosophy

We do not just talk theory; my sessions move you from a passive bystander to an informed advocate. We practice specific breathing patterns for different surge intensities and train your birth partner in active comfort measures like the hip squeeze, so you are ready to manage labor progress together rather than feeling overwhelmed by the clinical environment.
