About Prenatal Nutrition
I see prenatal nutrition as more than just food rules - it’s about helping you feel strong, calm, and ready for motherhood. I mix science with a bit of old-school wisdom, so you’re not just following a list, but actually understanding what your body needs.
What I Actually Do
- I focus a lot on gestational diabetes meal plans, because blood sugar gets tricky in pregnancy. It’s not about cutting carbs, but eating the right kinds - swapping out white rice for ragi or whole wheat, using less sugar, and adding spices like turmeric and cinnamon.
- Anemia is super common here. So, we work on boosting iron - think soaked dates, black raisins, beetroot, amla (gooseberry), lean meats - and always pair iron foods with vitamin C. I help you make sense of supplements too.
- Healthy pregnancy snacks (especially Indian ones) are always on the menu. I bust myths (yes, you can eat pineapple!), and teach you how to eat mindfully so there’s less stress and more joy in your meals.
Personalised for You
Every pregnancy is different. Whether you want nutrition tips for VBAC mothers or just want to feel less tired, I’ll tweak things for your needs.
Sessions are in English or Kannada (nanu kannadadalli kooda maathadabahudu - we can talk in Kannada too).

My Story
We’re CalmBirth India. You know, so many folks come to us scared about birth, thinking it’s all doctors and drama. That’s not how we see it. Birth is wild, powerful, and honestly, your body knows what to do. We started this because we saw too many families left in the dark, not knowing their choices. We want you and your partner to feel ready—calm, confident, and in charge. No more fear, just trust.
My Work
All-round support from bump to baby - We do Lamaze birth prep, prenatal yoga for pregnant women, mindful eating, labor comfort measures workshop, and newborn care.
Real info, not just exercises - Classes bust myths, explain labor, your rights, and medical stuff, so you make decisions feeling sure, not scared.
Partners matter - We guide your support team to step up—knowing how to help, advocate, and stay chill when it counts.
Trust your body, trust the process - Birth’s not a crisis. We help you let go, trust yourself and your baby, and meet each contraction as progress.
