My intention is to create a new standard and a different culture for Jiu-Jitsu in India. Looking at this team, I know we are getting there.

About Team Over Ego: Our Community
Walk onto our mats at HBR Layout and you will notice the difference immediately. There is no posturing or 'who is the toughest' nonsense. Whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned competitor, the focus here is on shared problem-solving. We train in the heat, we scramble hard, and we help our teammates improve because their progress makes the whole team sharper. Everyone is here to get better, and we hold each other to that standard every single day.
Why We Are Different
Most gyms rely on the instructor to tell you exactly how to move, hoping you memorize a move you might never use. We do the opposite. Our community is built on the Ecological Approach. This means we set up training 'games' that force you to solve problems in real-time. You aren't just copying me; you are discovering solutions that fit your specific body type and natural movement.
The 'No Ego' Culture
When we say 'no ego,' we mean it. You will not find people trying to prove themselves by hurting training partners. You will find people who are comfortable being uncomfortable. Our facility is non-AC for a reason: it forces you to focus on your breathing, your composure, and your resilience when you are tired. If you are looking for a place to cruise through easy workouts, this isn't it. If you are looking to be part of a team that celebrates the grind and supports each other through every tap and every win, you are in the right place.
Who Trains With Us
Our doors are open to anyone who is serious about their development. We have pro MMA fighters, working professionals, and complete beginners on the same mat. We are BJJ Globetrotters friendly because we believe in learning from everyone. If you show up, put in the work, and leave your ego at the door, you are one of us.
