About Our Story & Guiding Philosophy
Most people approach the coffee business looking for aesthetics, but I focus on the one metric that matters: would a customer pay for this specific cup of coffee and service again? My team and I don't care about memorizing fancy flavour notes or following trends. We care about setting up systems where your staff feels confident and your margins actually make sense for your business.
From Motorcycles to Coffee Training
I built this academy on a simple premise. While motorcycling across the country, I kept meeting people who romanticized the idea of a cozy coffee shop. They saw the Instagram version, but missed the grind. I realized there was a massive gap in real education for the coffee industry in India, so I started Barista Training Academy to cut through the noise.
Our No-Nonsense Approach
We don't teach theory for the sake of it. Everything we do is anchored in the reality of running a cafe, whether it is a small kiosk or a growing chain. We created tools like the Hindi-script Coffee Flavour Wheel, not to be fancy, but because coffee knowledge should be accessible, relatable, and usable by anyone in the industry, regardless of language.

My trainer, Aryaman, joined because he wanted to escape the corporate loop, and that captures the spirit of our team. We are people who have walked the walk. We don't sugarcoat the challenges. When you work with us, you get:
