I focus on consistent recipes and precise techniques so that every drink tastes exactly the same, whether I am behind the bar or my team is.
People think a great bar is just about the bartender's flair. While a bit of showmanship helps, the real success of any bar program comes from systems. If you have ever wondered why your drink tastes different every time you visit a place, it is usually because the SOPs are missing. My approach to bar consulting involves breaking down the entire operation. We start with menu engineering, ensuring every cocktail is not just creative but also profitable. I build detailed Recipe Bibles that cover everything from exact measurements in milliliters to the specific glassware you need. This is how we achieve consistency, which is the cornerstone of any profitable bar.
Then there is the training. I do not just hand over a menu and walk away. I spend days on-site with your staff, teaching them the physics of mixology. We cover everything from how to use a jigger for accurate pouring to the correct way to handle block ice so drinks stay fizzy without diluting too fast.
