The Founder's Journey: Why Play-Based Education Matters
Beyond the curriculum, this is the story of how I became a playful practitioner and why I am passionate about bringing this energy to your classroom.
A photo of me walking in the mountains. A year ago, I went on a journey to expand my horizons and attended a theatre training workshop in Rauri. That time spent alone in nature was the start of a beautiful new adventure in my personal and professional growth.
A view from an airplane window on my way to a teacher training in Gandhinagar. I wear many hats as a mother, teacher, and entrepreneur, and I am grateful for a life that allows me to travel and share my passion.
This is the group from my theatre training in the mountains. I was lucky to learn alongside these enthusiastic teachers and the inspiring children of Rauri, reminding me that the student is always ready when the teacher appears.
Posing with a group of enthusiastic teachers after a workshop on blended pedagogy. Moments like these, connecting with fellow educators who are eager to make their classrooms more engaging, are what fuel my passion.
A fun, behind the scenes moment from my theatre training, where we practiced mask making. This experience taught me to embrace vulnerability and play, lessons which I bring back to my own teaching and training.
About The Founder's Journey
Learning is a journey that never stops, and I believe the best teachers are also the most dedicated students. When I travel for my own theatre training in places like Rauri or participate in workshops in Gandhinagar, I am constantly testing new ways to blend pedagogy. This personal practice directly shapes the teacher training modules I bring to your school, ensuring they are not just theoretical, but tried and tested in real-time.
Why I Keep Learning
I often question whether I should share these personal moments, but I believe my work is inseparable from who I am. Whether it is a solo trip to the mountains for theatre training or attending a workshop in another city, these experiences allow me to return to the classroom with fresh eyes. My goal is to teach educators how to be 'playful practitioners,' not just deliver a curriculum.
Moving Beyond Performance
When I work with schools, the focus is never on a stage performance. I advocate for the process over the product. This means your teachers learn how to facilitate drama games, movement activities, and role-play simulations that align with NEP 2020 and NCF 2022 guidelines. We move away from memorized lines and toward building genuine communication skills.
Connecting with Your School
I bring this hands-on approach to my training sessions. Whether we are practicing mask-making to embrace vulnerability or reviewing blended pedagogy, the sessions are designed to be interactive and practical. We offer:
- Playful Practitioner Training: 3 to 4 hour on-site modules for up to 30 teachers.
- Resource Support: Digital packs, audio assets, and Q&A sessions to help handle classroom challenges.
- Structured Curriculum: For schools looking for a longer partnership, I provide 35 to 40 weeks of lesson plans that are research-backed and easy to implement.
If you want classrooms that feel alive and responsive, let’s talk about how to bring this play-based philosophy to your team.
Tiny Tribes
I am a mother, teacher, and perpetual student who believes that the best learning happens when we are willing to play. My journey from a shy kid to an educator has taught me that schools are not just places for grades, but spaces for building confidence and connection.
