Language shouldn't be a barrier to tasting great coffee. We created a flavour wheel that uses local Indian references to make sensory analysis intuitive for everyone.

This is more than just a chart; it's a step towards inclusivity. Our Hindi Flavour Wheel uses local references to make coffee tasting relatable for a wider Indian audience.

Just as the AeroPress makes great coffee accessible and fun, our Hindi Flavour Wheel aims to break down language barriers and make sensory education inclusive.

We believe good coffee should be for everyone. This wheel is our contribution to making the language of specialty coffee more local and less intimidating.

My motive is to make coffee simple. An international blog recently featured our work on simplifying coffee education and connecting with people in a language they understand.

Our work on the Indian language flavour wheels was highlighted for addressing the frustration with the lack of local context in coffee education.

The goal was to create a people-focused tool. Instead of "blueberry," we use relatable Indian alternatives like "jamun" to make flavor notes intuitive.

It was an honor to be featured by hopeespresso.co.uk for our efforts in making coffee education more accessible and culturally relevant.

The reaction has been hugely positive. People are now using their own local dialect and English terms to describe their coffee experiences, which is exactly what we hoped for.

The original flavor wheel didn't always make sense in an Indian context. Our version aims to reconnect coffee tasting with our own food and cultural references.

A meeting of cultures. Here, a traditional Vietnamese Phin filter sits on our Hindi Flavour Wheel, symbolizing our love for global coffee culture made locally relevant.

About Making Coffee Accessible: The Hindi Flavour Wheel

Stop trying to force notes like 'blueberry' when your palate recognizes 'jamun'. We designed this wheel to connect actual coffee tasting to flavours you know from your own kitchen, making sensory training intuitive instead of intimidating.
