Our girls shine in the competitive arena too. This Kumite match shows their power, speed, and tactical skills, developed through dedicated training in a supportive environment.
A woman is a full circle, with the power to create, nurture, and transform. Here, a student practices her striking combinations, building strength and confidence with every punch and kick.
Here I am with Sara, who won Gold at the Under 17 District Level Championship. It's my honor to coach these strong young women and watch them become champions.

About this collection
It is not just about learning moves, it is about applying them. We focus on 'Bunkai,' or practical application. You will learn how to take a basic punch or block and turn it into a way to break a wrist-lock or create space in a real-life situation. You do not need to be fit to start; you just need to show up.
People often ask if they need to be athletic to start, and the answer is always no. We build your fitness, agility, and power as we go. When you join our women’s self-defense sessions in Bangalore, you are not just learning a list of moves; you are learning how to read a situation and respond with your natural strength.
We focus on three things:
- Awareness: Understanding your surroundings so you can avoid trouble before it starts.
- Technique: Using leverage and speed over brute force. This is vital because self-defense is about neutralizing a threat, not winning a boxing match.
- Mental Resilience: Staying calm when things get tense.
Whether you are training at our Malleshwaram, HSR Layout, or Sahakar Nagar dojo, the environment is the same. We train as a family. You will see teenagers, working professionals, and homemakers all on the mat together, supporting each other. We use standard karate drills—punches, kicks, and stances—and strip away the theory to show you how they work in a street scenario. It is about building an unstoppable spirit, one class at a time. Oss.

I'm Derick, and I don't see karate as just a sport; it is the mindset I want every student to carry. When I train women and girls, my goal is making sure that when you leave the dojo, you walk a little taller and know you can handle what life throws at you.
