My 'TangoShastra' method provides the foundation, but to truly understand the depth of this dance, you need to see how the masters do it. Bringing world-renowned dancers like Javier Rodriguez and Fatima Vitale to our Koramangala studio allows our students to experience the intensity, precision, and musicality of Tango firsthand.
What Happens at These Masterclasses
These sessions are designed for those who have moved past the basics and are ready to refine their practice. We focus on:
- Biomechanics: We break down the 'how' and 'why' of movement. You learn how to use your body to convey intent and how to interpret your partner's micro-movements.
- The Embrace: We explore different embrace styles—open and close—to understand how they shift the energy and the conversation between you and your partner.
- Musicality: It is not about keeping time; it is about phrasing the music. Our guest artists guide you to find the melody and the 'Tanda' (set of songs) in your own movement.

You do not need to be a professional dancer to attend, but these sessions are more intensive than our regular weekly classes.
