About Interior Design
How I Approach Design
I see design as a conversation, not a one-way street. My work sits in that space where your life meets the walls around you. I don’t push a fixed style - instead, I try to make each space feel like it’s always belonged there, blending with the building and the landscape.
Collaboration, Not Dictation
Every project is a team effort. I want your home or workspace to actually feel like you. If you’re into books, pets, plants, or all of it, I’ll find ways to bring that out. My process is pretty chill - we talk, we figure out what matters, and I guide you through the choices without making it complicated.
Nature, Craft, and Doing More With Less
I’m big on sustainable interior design solutions. I use natural, local materials whenever I can, and I love upcycling - like turning old teak doors into new shelves or furniture. I’m always looking for ways to bring in more light and air, sometimes by opening up layouts or adding bigger windows.
What I Design
- Homes with an Indian and tropical vibe - think wood, warm colors, greenery, and sometimes a jagli katte (that’s a semi-open spot for hanging out).
- Workspaces that actually work for you, whether it’s an office, clinic, or school.
- Retail spaces that tell a brand’s story, from the entrance to the tiniest detail.
My Material Palette
I keep it honest and simple: polished cement, oxide floors, local stones, earth plasters, exposed brick, and a lot of upcycled wood and cane. Sometimes I even use Lantana weed for furniture - it’s invasive, but it makes for cool pieces.

My Story
We’re Betweenlines because for us, the magic’s always in the gaps - between city and wild, research and making, ideas and real life. We’ve built shelters you can wear, turned annoying lantana weeds into furniture, and learned a lot from both wins and flops. Our team’s a mix of folks who love to experiment. For us, the best bit is seeing a space grow its own story with the people who use it.
My Work
What We Do - Urban design, architecture, interiors, research - from big buildings to tiny details like upcycled interior finishes.
Eco-Sensitive Architecture - We use sustainable materials, recharge water, and design with nature in mind. Think interlocking bricks, reclaimed wood.
Community Empowerment Through Design - We love projects that help people - wellness spaces, heritage revamps, solutions for street vendors.
Material Honesty - Raw, handmade, sometimes wild - like lantana weed furniture or red oxide floors. We reuse and upcycle wherever possible.
Concept-Driven Facade Design - Every project starts with a story - a weave, a carpet, something that makes the space speak.
