Kitchen and Utility Space Design
We design kitchens where efficiency meets warmth. By blending natural materials like cane and wood with practical layouts, we create spaces that endure.

A well-organized kitchen with floor-to-ceiling storage. The neutral-toned cabinetry provides a clean, modern look, while the patterned floor tiles add a touch of traditional charm and personality.

This kitchen corner features a mix of materials, including fluted glass, wood, and a colorful mosaic tile backsplash. The design balances functionality with a warm, handcrafted aesthetic.
A kitchen storage unit designed to maximize space and light. The tall, glass-fronted cabinet provides elegant display storage, while the large window brings in ample daylight, making the kitchen feel bright and airy.

A beautiful juxtaposition of materials in a kitchen. The deep green of the shaker-style cabinet contrasts with the intricate pattern of the Moroccan-style tiles and the simple wooden shelf.
About Kitchen & Utility Spaces
We prioritize durability and natural texture in every kitchen we build. By combining materials like solid wood cabinetry, breathable cane joinery, and locally sourced stone countertops, we move away from standard modular finishes to create spaces that handle the daily demands of cooking while aging gracefully with your home.
A functional kitchen is about more than just storage. It is about how the space breathes and serves the user. Our approach in the kitchen focuses on three pillars. Material longevity, spatial efficiency, and thermal comfort.
Instead of standard high-gloss laminates, we favor BWP plywood carcasses with natural veneers or matte PU finishes. This choice is about creating surfaces that are robust against heat and moisture, which are common enemies in an Indian kitchen. We often integrate fluted glass to break the visual weight of overhead storage, ensuring the kitchen feels open even in compact apartment layouts.
We lean heavily into traditional techniques to solve modern problems. Cast-in-situ oxide flooring or Kota stone provides a durable, easy-to-clean base. For backsplashes, rather than generic tiles, we often look toward patterned ceramic or stone elements that add character without sacrificing cleanability. We also advocate for natural ventilation, often modifying layout walls or openings to ensure the cooking area remains cool and airy, reducing reliance on mechanical exhaust systems where possible.
When we integrate breakfast bars or utility counters, we look at timber or reclaimed wood. This adds a tactile, grounding element that connects the kitchen to the rest of your home. Every decision, from brass handles to the specific grain of a shutter, is a deliberate step toward creating a kitchen that is inherently personal and built to last.
