We believe stories belong on a stage. From hard-hitting theatre to our monthly open mic nights, our intimate auditorium is a space for Bangalore’s voices to be heard, felt, and shared.

'Butter & Mashed Banana', a sharp, musical, and moving theatrical reading. We provide a space for experimental formats like rehearsed readings that dive into themes of politics, censorship, and identity.

We support emerging talent from across the globe. 'The Final Riddle & Mr. Seagull' were two short plays by NYU Tisch drama students, offering heartfelt storytelling and fresh voices on our stage.

'It's Not You, It's Me' by Yours Truly Theatre is a play about modern love and 'situationships', drawn from real stories. Our theatre events often reflect contemporary life with humour and honesty.

A whimsical journey of folk, song, and everyday wonder. 'The Night We Found Magic' by Jugaad Co. is a heartfelt theatre performance that reminds us of the magic in resilience and love.

We proudly host important and challenging productions like 'The Vagina Monologues'. Our space is dedicated to fostering awareness, dialogue, and solidarity through the power of theatre.

'Inheriting Shadows – Children of the Atom' is a powerful spoken word performance marking 80 years since Hiroshima. We host poetic reckonings that use art to explore history and memory.

A poet lost in their words at our microphone. Our space is designed for intimacy, where every verse shared during a poetry reading or open mic is felt by the audience.

The poster for our monthly open mic, 'Let Poetry Be'. It's a gathering where poems come alive through voice, rhythm, and heart, celebrating creative expression in all its forms.

Another edition of 'Let Poetry Be'. We welcome all languages and encourage performers to use music, props, or costumes to enhance their poetry, making it a truly artistic experience.

About On Stage: Theatre, Poetry & Spoken Word

Our auditorium is not a distant, high-stage affair. With 100 seats, you are close enough to hear an actor's whisper or feel the intensity of a poet's pause. We prioritize an acoustic, unplugged feel where the focus stays entirely on the performance and the raw energy in the room, rather than grand production spectacles.
