Why Our Space is Different

We designed our auditorium to feel like a cozy extension of our bookstore. With a 100-person capacity, the sound is natural and the interaction is real. You can see the intricate footwork of a Bharatanatyam dancer or hear the nuances of a Ghazal without needing a microphone to bridge the gap.

What We Host

Our calendar is as diverse as the community we serve.

• Classical Arts: We host regular lec-dems (lecture-demonstrations) for Carnatic music, Mohiniyattam, and Hindustani vocals, where artists break down the 'why' and 'how' of their craft.
• Experimental & Spontaneous: From the 'Strangers' Choir' where random people create harmony in a few hours, to 'Dances of Universal Peace' which focuses on meditative movement, we value participation over performance perfection.
• Interactive Formats: Many of our events include post-show Q&As, where you can speak directly to the performers, learn about their training, or participate in hands-on activities like souvenir-making related to the performance.
