About this collection
Posing isn't just about flexing; it is about controlling your muscles under intense fatigue. In our sessions at AECS Layout, I do not just correct your hand placement. I teach you how to breathe, hold tension, and hide your weaknesses, ensuring you don't look shaky or exhausted even when you are cramping backstage.
Own the Stage
Many athletes spend months building their physique only to hide their hard work under poor stage presence. When you are on stage, the judges see what you show them. If you cannot control your core, hit a lat spread without shaking, or transition between mandatory poses smoothly, you lose points.
My Approach to Posing
My coaching goes beyond basic aesthetics. We focus on:
- Muscle Isolation: Learning which muscles to fire while keeping others relaxed for maximum contrast.
- Fatigue Management: Maintaining a rigid pose while your body is depleted and fatigued.
- Stage Presence: Developing a routine that draws the judges' eyes to your strengths and away from your weak points.
- Routine Development: Ensuring your flow is consistent, whether it is for ICN, Muscle Mania, or other natural federations.
The Reality of Contest Prep
I do not just teach you how to pose in a mirror. We do this in a high-intensity environment. You will practice your front double bicep, side chest, and abdominal poses repeatedly until they are automatic.
I am with you backstage at local shows. We handle the tan, the oil, and the pump-up. When you walk out there, you are not hoping for the best—you are ready to execute the plan we built. This is about total control. If you are serious about competing, stop guessing how you look and start learning how to display your physique with authority.
