Gentle Yoga Classes: In-Person and Online
Whether you want to practice in a studio or from the comfort of home, my classes are all about slowing down. We mix Hatha and Vinyasa flow to help you breathe, find your rhythm, and actually enjoy the process.
Welcome to my yoga class. Here, we move and breathe together, creating a space where everyone feels comfortable. This is a glimpse into our gentle Hatha flow, where we practice Classical Surya Namaskara, counting our breaths in Sanskrit to deepen our focus and connect with the ancient roots of yoga.
About this collection
You know, the thing about my classes is that we don't do those fancy yoga pretzels where you compete to twist the most. In our sessions, we use traditional Sanskrit counts for our Classical Surya Namaskara, not because it is fancy, but because it forces you to stay focused on your breath instead of your phone or your to-do list. It is about showing up exactly as you are, even if you are feeling a bit awkward.
Whether you are joining my in-studio sessions in Indiranagar or Koramangala, or logging in for a live Zoom class from your living room, the goal is always the same: aaramaagi (chilled out) practice. I know how intimidating it feels to walk into a studio where everyone seems to be doing advanced inversions. That is not what happens here.
We start with the basics. If you need a block for a backbend or a strap to help with a stretch, we use them. My online sessions are interactive—I actually watch your screen and give verbal corrections so you do not get lost. We practice Classical Surya Namaskara, core poses like Plank and Downward-Facing Dog, and slow Hatha holds.
Yoga helped me manage my own self-doubt, so I design these flows to be a gentle reset. If you are dealing with anxiety or just need to disconnect from the daily chaos, this is for you. It is okay if you fall out of a pose or need to take a child's pose for ten minutes. The mat is the one place where you do not have to perform, you just have to breathe.
I keep the batches small because I want to know who is in the room. We practice with good music, often a bit of Sitar or classical tunes, to keep the vibe relaxed. Come join me for a session if you want to build some discipline without the pressure.
