Yoga for Anxiety and Mental Wellness in Bengaluru

Yoga isn't about perfect poses here. It's about finding a bit of calm, breathing through the noise, and showing up for yourself when things feel heavy. Come as you are.

A perfect day for me involves simple, healing activities like listening to music, meditation, and moving my body. These are the practices I bring into my yoga for anxiety relief sessions, helping you find balance and joy in solitude.

There are days when things feel tough, and that's okay. I believe in being vulnerable and sharing the whole journey. Finding moments of peace, like enjoying the colors of Bangalore, is a practice in self-love and a reminder that difficult times will pass.

Part of the journey is learning to be your own support system. On days when I feel vulnerable, I remind myself that I have my own strength to rely on. This is a core lesson I bring into my yoga teachings.

Sometimes you just have to create your own sunshine. This was one of those Saturdays where I chose to dress up and get out, even when I was feeling low. Small acts of self-care can make a huge difference in your mental state.

About this collection

If you choose the private 1-on-1 sessions, we spend time assessing how you are actually feeling that day—whether it’s physical stiffness or just a lot of mental chatter—before we even touch a yoga mat. We don't force rigid sequences because your body needs something different on a stressful day compared to a calm one, so we work on slow, mindful movements and breathwork that you can take home and use whenever the anxiety hits.

You know, I’ve been exactly where you are. There were days I couldn't even get out of bed, let alone think about a workout. That is why these classes are different. They aren't about achieving a perfect headstand or trying to look good in a legging set. They are about holding space for yourself.

When we practice together—whether online or at our partner studios in Indiranagar and Koramangala—we focus on gentle Hatha and Vinyasa flows. I use Sanskrit counting for that grounded, old-school feel, but the goal is always aaramaagi (chilled out). We start with simple Surya Namaskaras, Plank, or Downward-Facing Dog, but we hold them with awareness rather than ambition. If you are anxious, we slow it down. If you need to move to release energy, we pick up the flow.

In our 1-on-1 sessions, we dig deeper. This is where we look at your specific triggers, work on alignment to fix those tight spots in your shoulders or hips where we carry stress, and build a routine that actually fits your life. You don't need to be flexible or experienced to start. You just need to banni (come) and show up. We incorporate pranayama to settle the nervous system and sometimes use music to help us drop the act and just breathe. It’s okay to be awkward, it’s okay to cry on the mat, and it’s okay to feel whatever you are feeling. I’m just here to guide you through the movement so you can find your own rhythm again.
