We don't build on the land; we build with it. Our approach treats architecture as an extension of the natural environment, where structure, light, and landscape exist in a continuous, quiet dialogue.

A Himalayan mountain home we designed, featuring a deck with a hot tub that looks out onto snow-capped peaks. The architecture is designed to be a viewing platform for the majestic landscape.

A curved glass wall and wooden walkway follow the natural contours of the landscape at our Himalayan retreat. The design allows the home to sit gently within its environment, surrounded by native trees and plants.

A window at the Himalayan home frames a view of an outdoor bathtub, blending the intimate act of bathing with a direct connection to the rugged, natural setting.

An aerial view of the Gorakhgad pinnacle in the Sahyadri mountains, a source of inspiration for us. This teardrop-shaped mountain showcases the power and beauty of natural rock-cut architecture.

The Gorakhgad fort, a historic site used by the Satvahanas, serves as a reminder of how humans have built in and around dramatic landscapes for centuries. We draw inspiration from these enduring structures.

Exploring a potential new resort site with a stunning natural waterfall. We feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to design in such a vibrant, living landscape.

A simple concave niche ornaments a bare concrete wall, with a bougainvillea branch reaching across it. This small detail illustrates our philosophy of creating moments where architecture and nature interact.

Our team atop the main boulder that anchors the Lurra House. The project is designed around this distinctive natural feature, making the rock an integral part of the home's identity.

About Landscapes & Natural Elements

Rather than imposing a structure on the site, we begin by analyzing topography, sun-path, and wind patterns. For complex terrains like coastal Alibag or the Himalayas, we utilize 1:100 scale balsa wood models to test how natural light will interact with the building before a single brick is laid. This ensures that every cantilevered deck and curved wall feels like an organic part of the landscape, not an intrusion.
