Romantic Couple Portraits
Even on your busiest wedding day, we will find five minutes to steal away. Just you, me, and some magic light to capture the start of your journey.
A quiet moment of connection. I guide my couples into poses that feel natural, capturing the intimacy and love between them, like this gentle forehead touch.
A fairytale twirl under a canopy of lights. This Sangeet night portrait is all about movement, joy, and the magical atmosphere of the celebration.
Bathed in the soft, golden hour light, this couple shares a sweet, candid moment. My goal is to capture the genuine smiles and affection that you share.
A bold and dramatic reception portrait. Using colored lighting, I created this moody, high-fashion look that shows a different, spicier side of the couple's personality.
A classic black and white shot that feels like a scene from a movie. The minimalist composition with the palm trees creates a timeless and romantic destination wedding portrait.
That golden hour glow is everything. This backlit portrait captures the warmth and happiness of the couple, wrapped in a beautiful, sunny embrace just after their ceremony.
A classic wedding portrait of the bride and groom, seated on the steps of the mandap. They look regal and happy in their traditional red and white wedding attire.
About this collection
Weddings are chaotic, and that is part of the fun. But when we step aside for couple portraits, I make it simple. You do not need an hour or an elaborate setup. Give me five minutes, a bit of nice light, and I will help you relax into a pose that feels like you. No stiff, awkward smiles, just real connection while you catch your breath from the festivities.
My approach to couple portraits is built on one simple idea: I want you to actually enjoy the time, not just endure the photo session. If you are camera-shy, that is totally fine. I spend that short window directing you just enough to get comfortable—maybe a quiet walk or a gentle touch—so your natural chemistry takes over.
Whether we are sneaking away during your reception at a venue in Mumbai or doing an editorial shoot at a local beach, my goal is to get images that feel like a scene from your own movie. I use a mix of classic color grading for that warm, sunny feel and high-contrast black and white for the more intimate, dramatic moments. We can shoot these on your wedding day between rituals, or we can dedicate a full pre-wedding session to explore different outfits and locations. Either way, the result is the same: authentic portraits that are not about stiff posing, but about the story you are writing together. My editing adds that signature touch, or 'tadka' as I like to call it, ensuring every shot feels clean, honest, and timeless.
